Some shots need a bit of punch. Others look better soft and simple. Try a look, watch the whole clip, and see how it feels.
Check the greens, the sky and the shadows. If the colors feel too strong, ease the look back. You want to notice the flight, not just the edit.
Light changes fast when you're flying. A sunny ridge and a deep valley won't start with the same colors, so give each shot a quick check.
Natural, Flat or GP-Log?
The LUTs and PowerGrades are made for Rec.709 footage. Here's what that means for your GoPro clips.
Natural & Flat
Rec.709 footage is ready for the creative look. Exposure and white balance still affect the result.
GP-Log & GP-Log2
Both are supported. Convert to Rec.709 first with a matching CST or conversion LUT. CineRush PowerGrade already includes a CST.
CST means Color Space Transform. It converts footage from its recorded color space to the one your grade needs. These are creative looks, not camera conversion LUTs.
