Colour grading

FPV Drone LUTs

Cinematic color grading for FPV pilots & filmmakers.

Why color grading matters

Good colors can make a big difference in how your footage looks. Whether you're flying through mountains, filming cars or capturing your travels, color grading helps bring everything together.

It's not just about adding a cinematic look. It's about getting the exposure, contrast and colors right so your footage looks the way you want it to.

With the right LUT, you can get the look you're going for without spending hours adjusting every shot.

Supported cameras & color profiles

All LUTs and Powergrades on this website are designed for Rec.709 footage. It doesn't matter which camera you use, as long as your footage is in Rec.709.

If you're shooting in a Log profile, you may need to convert your footage to Rec.709 first using a Color Space Transform (CST) or the appropriate camera-specific conversion.

Examples of supported footage:

  • GoPro: Natural, Flat, GP-Log
  • DJI: Normal, D-Log, D-Log M
  • Insta360: I-Log
  • Sony: S-Log2, S-Log3
  • Fujifilm: F-Log, F-Log2
  • Any other camera or profile converted to Rec.709 (Canon, ARRI, RED, Panasonic, etc.)

Once your footage is in Rec.709, you're ready to apply the LUTs. In the Powergrade there is already a CST in the node tree.

Please note: These are creative LUTs, not technical conversion LUTs. Exposure, white balance and lighting can still affect the final look!

CineRush PowerGrade

CineRush PowerGrade was tested with GoPro HERO12/13 Flat and GP-Log, DJI Osmo Action 5 D-Log M, Fujifilm F-Log2 and DJI Mavic Pro D-Log. It requires DaVinci Resolve Studio!

Keep the workflow simple

1. Get it ready

Adjust your exposure and white balance. If you're shooting in Log, convert your footage to Rec.709 first.

2. Add the look

Apply your favorite LUT or use the CineRush PowerGrade for more control.

3. Make it yours

Fine-tune the colors, contrast and intensity until you're happy with the result.

Find your look

I've created these tools to make color grading easier and faster. They're based on my own experience as an FPV pilot and videographer, and I use them on my own footage too.

FPV Drone LUTs

18 cinematic LUTs with different contrast options to give your footage the look you want. Easy to use in DaVinci Resolve, Premiere Pro and Final Cut Pro (or all software which supports the import of LUTs). Just apply, adjust and you're good to go!
